Tor Project, a digital anonymity focused non profit, now accepts directly cryptocurrency Donations where donors can utilize almost 10 different options for sending money. A donation page on Tor's website with a list of crypto addresses has been available since 18. March.

Tor fundraising director Sarah Stevenson reported that the company had already accepted bitcoin for a number of years. What's new is that before, these donations were accepted through BitPay, a company that converts cryptic payments to fiat before being transferred to its merchant's customers.
